Lors d'un séjour au Bénin, j'ai rencontré Soeur Marie Joséphine en 2006. Nous étions déjà une chaîne d'amour et de solidarité depuis 1991 pour expédier régulièrement des containers de dons de matériel scolaire et médical dans divers pays d'Afrique.

A Avrankou, près d'Adjarra, à 10km de Porto-Novo, Soeur Marie Joséphine, réfugiée rwandaise, était installée dans un lieu sans hygiène, sans matériel, avec 40 enfants entassés sans aucun confort minimum. En 2007, devant tant de dénuement, je lui ai fait parvenir une tente de l'armée pour protéger les enfants en saison de pluie. On ne peut rester insensible à tant de détresse.

C'est ainsi que la construction d'un véritable orphelinat est apparue comme une nécessité...

While visiting Bénin,I met Sister Marie Joséphine in 2006. We had already established a chain of love and solidarity in 1991 that regularly sends containers filled with gifts of medical and educational supplies to countries in Africa.

In Avrankou, close to Adjarra, 10 km from Porto-Novo, Sister Marie Joséphine, a Rwandan refugee herself, was living in unsanitary conditions, without any supplies, with 40 children who themselves had already been battered by misery.In 2007, faced with this situation, I sent an army campaign tent to protect the children during the rainy season. We cannot remain insensitive to this much misery.

It was at this point that construction of a real orphanage appeared to be a necessity.....
